It's Sunday night in Gloucester Ma, sat around with fat bellies and listening to "Goodbye America" - and you did. Bastard. We want to go to the Dog Bar but you're not there. Bastard. Norway's famous for freezing the balls off - take care. Regards to the Pips.

It is people like you that are everything that is wrong with society today.

Based on your "digital soldiers" posting, I would say it is incumbent upon your to read a book by Richard K. Morgan called Altered Carbon. It is both a ripping yarn and a fairly deep exploration (across three books) of the state of humanity once a whole human personality can be digitized, stored, and recalled at will. The questions of how that pertains to the soul and to individuality, immortality, etc. come up many times... and who knew, all the answers re right there in your iPod Shuffle! Next time, get the iPod Touch - you can distract yourself from all the existential angst by re-watching Caddyshack on that crystal clear display. Not to mention surfing for porn, of course. Takes the edge off.

In the meantime, I'm digging the Zerosum stuff that I've heard so far. Being between projects at the moment, it makes me yearn for the old days (remember when it was just the trio, you, me and that Brian-Wilson-touring-muthaf*cka Nelson?) I'm glad to see you are still keeping it unreal - drop a line.

Inge,

I must truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating your time and letting everybody know about the benefit on your e-mail listing. I know you had a big impact on the Wightman clan and especially Lucy's friends. As a matter of fact, I copied one from a gentleman named Al. Torri was known as Bean. So, if you're wondering what the hell that means and why I'm referred to as Messenger of Bean here it goes.

'My Torri moment came for me when Inge did Bowie (Heroes). The cards of her you left on the table, MoB, did it for me. Thank you..... It was my chance to say hello and goodbye.... I love that she wrote poetry and liked to play her guitar. Images of her in stone and in wood and strings and a whisper of something more. Thank you.

And Inge the rockabilly avatar of Bean! Thank him. How cool is he? He really rocks, and I noticed he found the stage, well, springy -- like an almost trampoline feel to it -- that looked like fun "....their tails are made out of springs!"'

I guess Bowie's lyrics sum up everything and what it meant to Lucy. "We could be heroes..just for one day." That you were Inge. You and every other wonderful giving artist who donated not only your time but also your heart to this. I'm sure somewhere high above Torri gives you the thumbs up.

Sincerely,

Luv & Music...LONG LIVE TORRI!

Hey Inge I've been listening to "The Zerosum" and those are some of my favorite songs, usually beating back some great bands like Green Day or Fall Out Boy... Well they're sometimes great... but seriously there's something big in those tunes and you should and can get them known. There's a lot of fans out there you just got to cast your line a little farther.

Also, check out: www.orange-papers.org" for more detailed anti (and VERY WELL RESEARCHED!) 12 Step Information! Happy 2008 to you!

The King Is Dead - The King Is Dead - Long Live the King - 30 years since they found his bloated dead body, a shame really - 40 years since Charlie convinced some hippies that the Beatles really just wanted to kill people - You see, Time goes by Anyway - there's A LOT of people waiting silently in the brush, for Your next move. Really.

smooth as vince gill and as innovative as

soul can be......this town is lucky to have you. your
samples on myspace are great....I have been worn
out and hypnotized by this business for 25
years.....in all that time of studios and
wannabes.....and dreamers.....and schemers.....you are
the real deal......the shit producers are chompin' at
the bit for......so.....I hope I am not the only one
who is telling you this stuff.......I have played at
symphony hall and lincoln center and tanglewood and
every town from providence to bangor.....you are
fucking "gifted" talented.....believe something great
is coming....you deserve it.....all the best....and
always moved by your performances.....jim
